the history of our company starts in November 1995, when CAP SAS® sees the day for the first time. A sport-passionate dive into the adventure of creating his company offering some technical gear for the events and the promotion of the brands. CAP SAS® is the first company to offer a choice of Point Of Sale Advertisement (POS-A) in France.
things are getting organized, and one month later, the CAP Mer et Montagne® Company is created.
the range of products of CAP is growing with a line that will build its success. The Wind’Air Extrême® range of flags, provided with telescopic poles patented with a catch for an optimum blocking, which are able to resist to the worst conditions, either by the sea or by the mountains.
the first « Windvolume® » flag is created. It is the first banner giving a visual aspect of drapery, and flapping with the wind, like a ship sail would do.
the “Windfoil®” « Windfoil® » range of flags gets into the market. Those banners, precursor of the Wind’Air Classique®, have a stackable pole and are offering and great price-quality ratio.
CAP is creating its first accessories dedicated to create a playful environment for kid’s area and snow schools.
creation of the range of flags called Wind’Air Classique®, dedicated to be easily transportable by everyone on every event.
CAP is accredited by the International Ski Federation (IFS) for its competition bibs, its banners and its slalom and giant slalom doors.
our actual president, Jean-Pierre CHEVALLOT, takes back the company and gives it an international dimension.
the patent of a new flag is settled. The « Prisme 3D® » banneris launched. It is the very first flag with three faces and that can illuminate itself by the inside (on mains or thanks to a battery).
an other flag arrives, adapted to the beverage market. The « Can Flag® » appears and can take the shape of your can. It is the first time that in the world of the Point Of Sale Advertisement (POS-A), a flag can make either to promotion of a brand AND of a product.
creation of CAP Recycling®, a new service of CAP offering to rework your old PVC banners, and transform them into eco-goodies, to give them a second life.
creation of CAP Services® and CAP Distribution®.
The CAP SA® group is getting bigger thanks to two new entities The first one, CAP Services®, dedicated to the services and the logistic, and the second one, CAP Distribution®, in charge of the shops and the distribution network.
after many trials, an other banner, still very original, arrives: the « Bottle Flag® ».
This double-sided printed banner, as its great sister the « Can Flag® », can take this time the shape of any bottle, but keeping the physical characteristics of a normal flag (reaction to the wind, stability).
creation of a new range of “shaped flags”: the Perspective Flags®. They are including the « Can Flag® », the « Bottle Flag® » and are able to take the shape of any kind of object you would like to promote with the « Silhouette Flag® ».
